Our Temple Food Kimchi is inspired by traditional Buddhist cuisine, which avoids the use of animal products and strongly flavoured ingredients.

A natural fermentation process allows the pure flavours of the vegetables to take centre stage. This 'temple food' kimchi offers a much milder taste than traditional kimchi, but still retains the distinctive aroma. Without the use of the five pungent spices - garlic, onions, leeks, shallots and chives - it has a more subtle, refreshing flavour profile and lacks the strong smell commonly associated with other kimchi varieties.
